Art & About

is thrilled to announce our October event scheduled for Wednesday, October 20th at 11 am. We will immerse ourselves in the abstract landscape sculpture park created by artist Edward Tufte at Hogpen Hill Farms. Surrounded by the peak of fall foliage we’ll stroll the 1.5 miles of artworks and then enjoy a delicious custom catered picnic by Manna Toast chef Jason Wiener.

We will also have a FIRST EVER art conversation with a member of the Hogpen art team with insight into the inspiration and unique construction and placement of these massive environmental installations.

Learn More:

“Abstract sculptors make objects generating unique optical

experiences. Abstract works provide a multiplicity of direct

and vivid optical experiences: form, scale, color, shadows,

volume, airspace, landscape. Direct optical experiences

are universal, produced by Nature’s universal laws on how

light bounces around 3D artworks.”

Tickets for the experience are $150 which includes the

entrance fee, lunch, beverages, and art conversation.

Hogpen farm is located in Woodbury, CT approximately 2

hours from New York City and 1 hour from Westport, CT.
