We are thrilled to offer a private tour at The Brandt Foundation to see Self-Portraits of Others, a solo exhibition of artist Julian Schnabel.

The show features twenty-five new works created between 2018- 2020 and examines the theme of portraiture throughout history. During this time Schnabel was simultaneously directing At Eternity’s Gate, a film about the life of Vincent Van Gogh.

The Brant Foundation was founded by Peter M. Brant in 1996, with a mission to “promote education and appreciation of contemporary art and design, by making works available to institutions and individuals for scholarly study and examination.”

After our private tour led by one of the art history experts at the foundation, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at il Buco Alimentari & Vineria. Part of the il Buco family and famous for their wine selections, the Mediterranean Italian cuisine is known for “house-made products crafted using traditional methods as well as artisan provisions handpicked from independent producers (they) admire.”

Tour costs $150 (inclusive of lunch)
