Laura grew up in New York and after graduating University of Michigan in 1989 she started her career in fashion at Anne Klein. Taking a circuitous route with jobs in television for the KTLA Morning News and Dennis Miller, jobs in elementary eduction teaching 3rd and 4th grade, and many years volunteering and raising her children; she returned to fashion, founding her own curated boutique called WEST. Most recently, Laura has been working as the Fashion Editor of West Luxury and Westlake Magazines in LA, consulting for retail stores, and styling clients. Laura continues to be bicoastal between Los Angeles and Connecticut with a good deal of time spent in New York City (and a year in Paris).

This website and blog combines her East-Coast upbringing (a little New York edge) and her adopted West-Coast fashion sensibility (California cool) offering style tips and stories bringing her high- low vibe to life.
