New York premiere of
Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams

at the Brooklyn Museum and lunch at local Mexican fave Chavela’s on Thursday, Sept 30th.

The exhibit will include:

 

Over 200 couture garments as well as photographs, videos, sketches, and an immersive garden room highlighting one of Dior’s sources of inspiration— flowers and natural forms. Influences of classical and contemporary art will also be apparent as you stroll the galleries with designs by Dior and his predecessors from Yves Saint Laurent to Raf Simons.

The Art & About experience will include a guided tour by a museum docent beginning at 11:30 am and conclude with a festive Mexican lunch (of course delicious drinks!) nearby at Chavela’s.
