Because it’s especially important now, and you have the right to do so.

VOTE 2020:

My blog is about life and style. Yes, it may be all #For the love of fun and fashion with hints of motherhood and LA but I occasionally want to comment on issues that are incredibly important and deeply meaningful. Throughout the pandemic and 2020’s challenges, I have focused on practical fashion and doses of humor to give everyone a bit of a break from the serious news and stressful times. However, I do want to piggy back on the fashion industry using its influence to promote causes and visually impact society with one strong message, VOTE. From t-shirts to necklaces and couture dresses (ie: Christian Soriano’s runway gown, pictured below), I’m proud that rather than promoting a political party or any negative messages fashion designers are championing the single most important way you can express your values and have a say and that is to get out and vote. Two of my sons are eligible to vote and I was thrilled to see the excitement my 18 year old showed when his voting packet arrived in the mail. Below are images from various companies and creative interpretations by designers with one and only one message .... please go VOTE! It’s a privilege. The one and only fashion statement I’ll be making on November 3rd is the “I Voted” sticker on my jacket!
